Three songs for high voice and piano on poems by Maya Angelou and Dylan Thomas. These were written as a submission for Andrew’s music degree in 2005, and await a first performance, owing to the high cost of obtaining rights to use the texts.
Performing copies are available directly from Andrew by contacting him at email@andrewcusworth.com. This work is priced at £40 for a digital copy with permission to print unlimited copies for one named ensemble. Prices are subject to change. Enquiries about the first performance are also welcome.
The perusal score contains the Dylan Thomas setting only. The two poems by Maya Angelou remain in copyright, and any performance or reproduction of the complete cycle requires clearance from the rights holders.
